Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Family Pawn ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Family Pawn mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the App and provide its features:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name you provide. Authentication is handled through our database provider, Supabase.
Saved items. When you favorite or save inventory items, we store those selections so they appear in your Saved list.
Push notification data. If you turn on notifications, we collect a device identifier (token) so we can send you alerts about deals, new arrivals, and items you've saved.
Usage information. Basic app activity, such as which features you use, to help us improve the App.
Device information. Standard technical details such as device type and operating system version.

We do not collect payment card numbers in the App. Payments are handled on our separate, secure payment page.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account.
To save your favorited items and show personalized lists.
To send notifications you've opted into about promotions, new inventory, and saved items.
To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
To respond to your questions and provide customer support.

Third-party services

The App uses a small number of trusted service providers, and some screens open external websites within the App:

Supabase — secure database and account authentication.
OneSignal — delivery of push notifications.
In-app web pages. The Shop and Pay sections load external websites (including our Pawnmate inventory site and our payment page) inside the App. Information you enter on those pages is governed by their own privacy practices.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, or when required by law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Family Pawn, our customers, or others.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

Your choices

Notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.
Account access and deletion. You can request to view, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Deleting Your Account

You can request deletion of your Family Pawn app account and its associated data at any time. To request deletion, email us at alabaster@myfamilypawn.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account."

Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account and the personal data associated with it, including your name, email address, and saved items, within 30 days.

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as transaction records related to in-store purchases or pawn transactions), as described elsewhere in this policy.
